Enables <menuitem>Eliminate Points</menuitem> mode. If this mode is enabled, you can remove a point by dragging and dropping it onto a space directly between two points that adjoin the point you are eliminating.</paragraph>

<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_id7165910943528020">To remove a point, left-click on the shape you want to edit, the left-click on the point you want to remove, and drag it to a place directly between the two adjoining points until it snaps into place.</paragraph>
<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_id311716400141144">You can adjust how close the point needs to be before it snaps into place by adjusting the <link href="text/shared/optionen/01070300.xhp#bm_id3153839"><menuitem>Point reduction</menuitem></link> angle in the <menuitem>Grid</menuitem> settings dialog. The lower the angle, the closer the point needs to be before it snaps into place.</paragraph>
