+## Usage

+## Serde support
+
+Serde support is optional and disabled by default. To enable use the feature `serde`.

+## Building documentation
+
+When building the `bytes` documentation the `docsrs` option should be used, otherwise
+feature gates will not be shown. This requires a nightly toolchain:
