Catena ====== Catena is a memory-consuming password scrambler that excellently thwarts massively parallel attacks on cheap memory-constrained hardware, such as recent graphical processing units (GPUs). Furthermore, Catena provides resistance against cache-timing attacks, since its memory-access pattern is password-independent.
