From 81c7a4f07d75acdc0e6b46fd76e1b99707fa13b2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior Date: Tue, 30 Jun 2020 11:45:14 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 33/64] x86/entry: Use should_resched() in idtentry_exit_cond_resched() Origin: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/6.1/older/patches-6.1.82-rt27.tar.xz The TIF_NEED_RESCHED bit is inlined on x86 into the preemption counter. By using should_resched(0) instead of need_resched() the same check can be performed which uses the same variable as 'preempt_count()` which was issued before. Use should_resched(0) instead need_resched().
