If you cannot see the field shading of the cross-reference, choose View - Field Shadings or press CommandCtrl+F8. Choose Edit - Fields. Set the options that you want, and then click OK. Use the arrow buttons in the Edit Fields dialog to browse through the cross-references in the current document.
