ansible (4.6.0-1) experimental; urgency=medium

 The Ansible Project has now split what was known as "ansible" into two parts:
 The binaries (now called "ansible-core"), and the content (modules, plugins, and
 in the future possibly roles and playbooks) in "ansible" (a.k.a "ansible
 collections"). Each will follow their own release schedule and diverge in
 version numbers over time.

 When reading about the various parts there are naming clashes to consider:

 - Debian package "ansible"
 -> called "ansible" on PyPI
 -> is called "ansible collections" through most of the documentation
 -> upstream PyPI packages are generated through
 https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-build-data

 - Debian package "ansible-core"
 -> called "ansible-core" on PyPI
 -> upstream source is "ansible" at https://github.com/ansible/ansible/

 Any older documentation you may find will refer to both parts as just
 "ansible". To make the confusion complete, PyPI "ansible-core" was named
 "ansible-base" in 2.10.x.

 This package depends on ansible-core, so no further action is needed.

ansible (2.7.5+dfsg-2) experimental; urgency=medium

 With this version build and runtime of ansible has switched to python3. If you
 don't use custom task modules or custom inventory modules, this will likely
 not affect you. If you do have the above, you need to ensure those work with
 python 3 before upgrading. Instructions and migration tips can be found in the
 upstream documentation or in the ansible-doc package.

 Note that switching will only affects the ansible controller. The remote nodes
 will continue to use python 2. This means you need to ensure that your custom
 task modules run on both python 2 and 3.

 If you also want to switch the remote nodes to python 3, you need to ensure
 that they have at least python 3.5 installed. You can then set the
 "ansible_python_interpreter" inventory variable to /usr/bin/python3.

Replaces: ansible-base (<= 2.10.5+dfsg-2)
Description: Configuration management, deployment, and task execution system
 Ansible is a radically simple model-driven configuration management,
 multi-node deployment, and remote task execution system. Ansible works
 over SSH and does not require any software or daemons to be installed
 on remote nodes. Extension modules can be written in any language and
 are transferred to managed machines automatically.
 .
 This package contains the ansible collections.

Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Fix encoding errors on Windows guests (fixes: #156)

On Windows guests the default encoding will be set to whatever
default legacy encoding, not utf-8. This issue isn't apparent on English locale
Windows guests, as there the encodings (ISO-8859-1, utf-8) happen to coincide.

However, on e.g. German Windows guests this will cause an encoding error when
reading any output from there.

This patch ensures that the proper encoding is set on every command.
