  </variable></h1>
<paragraph xml-lang="en-US" role="paragraph" id="par_id881607972030094">Images are inserted in a Calc spreadsheet anchored to cells by default and do not resize when the cell is moved.</paragraph>
<paragraph xml-lang="en-US" role="paragraph" id="par_id741607810664944">Images can be anchored in three different ways:</paragraph>

    <listitem>
     <paragraph xml-lang="en-US" role="listitem" id="par_id351607809926451"><emph>To Cell:</emph> the image will move along with the cell, when copying, sorting or inserting and deleting cells above and on the left of the cell holding the anchor.</paragraph>
    </listitem>
    <listitem><paragraph xml-lang="en-US" role="listitem" id="par_id871607809971823"><emph>To Cell (resize with cell):</emph> the image will move along with the cell. In addition, the image height and width will be resized if the cell holding the anchor is later resized. The aspect ratio of the image follows the later aspect ratio of the cell holding the anchor.</paragraph>

    <listitem><paragraph xml-lang="en-US" role="listitem" id="par_id551607810008215"><emph>To Page:</emph> the image position in the page is not affected by cells ordering or cells movements.</paragraph>

  <h2 xml-lang="en-US" id="hd_id151607809776222">To Change the anchor of an image</h2><paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_id41607978764613">Select the image and choose <menuitem>Format - Anchor</menuitem>, or, on the context menu of the image choose <menuitem>Anchor</menuitem></paragraph>
  <tip xml-lang="en-US" id="par_id761607809520625"> The original size of the image and cell is preserved while pasting the entire row or entire column for both <emph>To Cell</emph> and <emph>To Cell (resize with cell)</emph> options.</tip>
