powerline (2.6-2) unstable; urgency=medium

Global powerline configuration data which affects all users may now be
placed in the /etc/powerline directory. It will override the application
defaults, but user-defined powerline configuration will still take
    precedence.

Powerline merges configuration data from all available sources, so
copying complete config files isn't required: only specific keys or
sections may be defined in the global or user-defined locations.

powerline (1.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium

If you installed customized configuration files ini ~/.config/powerline
based on a previous version of this package, powerline may fail to
    function correctly.

In this case, it is recommended to copy the new default configuration,
located in /usr/share/powerline/config_files, in place of the old one and
    reinstate customizations.
